Teaching

Courses engaged as Teaching Assistant.

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Fall 2025

Teaching Assistant, The Global School of Media, Soongsil University

This project-based course offers undergraduate students hands-on experience in the user-centered design (UCD) process, guiding them through the development of a complete design project from concept to prototype.

During this semester, I mentored four student teams throughout the semester, offering weekly feedback to support their application of UCD methodology. I also supervised three teams in translating their final projects into research manuscripts for submission to HCI Korea 2026. All three were accepted (two oral presentations, one poster):

  • NOTISSU: A System Design to Alleviate University Students’ Information Fatigue from Distributed Campus Information (Gong et al., Oral)
  • EMart Easier Mart: Design for the Coexistence of Efficient Wayfinding and Playful Exploration in Offline Hypermarkets (Choi et al., Oral)
  • FitTory: Designing a Solution for Solving Fit Mismatch in Online Apparel (Choi et al., Poster)

Additionally, I delivered a special lecture on AI-assisted programming techniques (colloquially known as “vibe coding”) to help students build working prototypes. The lecture was conducted in Korean; recordings are available below:
